Daybook-October 19th

FOR TODAY...October 19th

Outside my window... a crisp, sunny fall day (my favorite time of year)

I am thinking... about the many things that need to get done today

I am thankful for... our homeschool group

I am wearing...still in my bathrobe. I thought I'd do this really quick before getting into the shower

I am remembering...fall days in New England

I am going... to snap fitness later today

I am reading...chapter 21 in the book of Isaiah

I am hoping... to get all our school work done

On my mind...how to create an English garden for my daughter's 16th birthday, that's her theme

From the learning rooms...I have sleepy children, not quite ready for a day of school

From the kitchen... breakfast is underway

Around the house... we need to get your typical cleaning done

One of my favorite things . . . apple picking

From my picture journal...

I haven't gone apple picking in years. My dad used to take us every fall when I was small. It is one of my fondest memories from my childhood.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for visiting my site and taking the time to comment. Yes, I am a Pastor's wife! :) It's nice to "meet" another one! We've been pastoring for 4 years now. A man in my church started calling me "the Bishop's wife" and the title stuck. :) Have a great week!

Beautiful daybook entry! I've enjoyed my visit this afternoon. We just went apple picking earlier this month, only to discover that the apples had already all been picked...hehe! We did enjoy eating a few that they had for sale.

Some day, I pray I will live in a state that I can go apple picking in - it seems like such a perfectly fallish thing to do!

Your children are beautiful. I would love to go apple picking. I love apple fried pies and most anything apple. I hope you have a wonderful week. God bless, Doylene
